Install:

Start > Run > Type : %appdata%, then find 2K Sports\NBA 2K12\Saves , overwrite all the files.

for XP users: C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\Saves

for Vista or Win 7 users: C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\Saves

Then go to NBA 2K12 and load it

This mod does NOT overwrite anything in NBA 2K12. You can play NBA Street 2K12 alongside the default 2K12 with no conflicts.

Take the NBA Players to the Street with this mod.
Three new street arenas with three versions of Rucker Park are included.
Uniforms are based on the ones worn in NBA Street Homecourt.
Rookie Showcase for My Player mode is supported.
Every player wears a T-Shirt unless they have an arm accessory.

This adds Adidas Rose 2 HD shoes to NBA 2K12. Credit for DiegoM for the 1024x1024 shoe template.

Version 1: Shoe with multi colorways. You can also make a copy of it rename it to shoe_301_00.iff it will replace the second Adidas Shoe.

Version 2: Colors can't be changed in game, rename and find a shoe to replace it with.

This is an updated 2011/2012 season roster for NBA 2K12 with ALL rookies. It also includes Eddy Curry, Larry Hughes, Jaamal Tinsley, updated accessories for every player based on what they're wearing THIS season, updated salaries that reflect every player's ACTUAL salary, updated rotations based on minutes players have ACTUALLY played this year and updated coaching profiles based on the 0-25-50-75-100 scale.

This will update EVERY uniform in the game. If you have patches you want saved, back them up BEFORE overwriting. If you do not like this effect you will have to REINSTALL.

After doing research on the "miracle" jerseys from NBA 2K11, I was unable to replicate the exact changes that were done last year. However I did find two lighting values, the Main Light and the Ambient Light, and was able to create a similar effect. These uniforms are a bit shinier than the default ones, and have a more intense shadow effect.

The NBA introduced the 3-point line back in 1979, adding a new level to the game. The NBA 2K series has seen its fair share of great 3-point shooters, with some still being in the series today. The following list below has some of the best marksmen in NBA 2K12. And although a few might be missing, we think the players on this list are well-deserving.

Ray Allen - Boston Celtics

You can mention other players, but when talking about who the best 3-point shooter is in NBA 2K12, the definitive answer is Ray Allen.

Allen can hit the necessary trey during a fast break, or by running off screens and picks. He's one of the few shooters in 2K12 who can actually fade away to the side and still hit the 3-pointer with ease.

With the frenzy of free agent signings, trades, amnesty waivers and the fact that plenty of NBA players will miss the season due to contracts signed during the lockout, the already underway 2011-12 campaign will be one of the most unique seasons in NBA history. Today, we’ll take a look at how this historic off-season has affected your virtual team in NBA 2K12.

Atlantic Division

The Boston Celtics added Brandon Bass in a sign-and-trade, sending Glen “Big Baby“ Davis to Orlando. While the Celtics users are losing some defense and rebounding in Davis, Bass is a better shooter from range and in traffic. If 2010 D-League Defensive Player of the Year Greg Stiemsma makes the Celtics roster (and 2K puts him in the game), he could see significant minutes this season.

The New York Knicks made the biggest off-season splash in the Atlantic, acquiring Tyson Chandler, but in order to afford Chandler, New York had to amnesty Chauncey Billups. Chandler gives Knicks users a true defensive presence that they haven’t had since Marcus Camby in NBA 2K2. With Billups gone, Knicks fans have some other options at point guard. New signees Mike Bibby and Baron Davis both have strengths and weaknesses that they bring to the table.

The rebuilding Toronto Raptors added the absolutely average duo of Gary Forbes and Rasual Butler. Neither player excels in any facet of basketball.

Central Division

The Chicago Bulls should finish at the top of the Central again. They added Rip Hamilton at shooting guard, which meant that Keith Bogans, last year’s starter, was released. Hamilton brings great shooting ability, high offensive awareness and incredible hands to the Windy City. The release of Bogans means a drop-off of strength and defense.

For reasons I've explained in detail in this thread, I've created this tool.

Starting with NBA 2K12, 2K implemented a way to update game art and text (actually, any game file) silently, without the need for a patch, using the Online Data folder. However, the files 2K updates this way override any mods the user has installed, and there's no easy way for the user to make sure his mods override 2K's updates.
